hanger issues collects anonymous usage data to understand how people use the app. This includes which screens are visited, when a restaurant decision is made, and when results are shared. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any information that could identify you personally.
If you use the "use my location" feature, your precise location is used only to find nearby restaurants. It is not stored on our servers. If you type a location manually, that text is sent to Google Places API to search for restaurants.
We use Google Analytics to track anonymous usage statistics — how many people open the app, which city they're in, and what actions they take. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Restaurant data is provided by Google Places API. When you search for restaurants, your location and cuisine preferences are sent to Google to retrieve results. Google's privacy policy applies to this data.
hanger issues requires no account and no sign up. We do not store any personal data about you.
